I grow herbs and sell them to Health Food Stores, as they have been grown organically in my yard. The Bees favorite is thyme, and it's mine too. I also sell herbs in the summer to local restaurants. Mostly basil, rosemary and dill. Between the herbs and the honey I earn a little cash each month. Your family could not be "herb witches". While in the Bible, they all read (tought) is written: You shall not have other gods aside from me. And I thought, how can they betray the One with acting like that. They pray to Jesus, but if you pray to .... whatever you are a witch ;-) I did not reverse it. Also I thought, when God is the father of Jesus while Mary was married to Josef...... Did he not question it? To this time? I like the xmas-story somehow. There is a piece of truth (in any "tale"), but you have to find it. ... My parents belief in God. Most ;-) Our pastor is a really nice, still human man. Looks a bit like these pics from "god" with with longer hair near white, beard. He looks also most like a "homeless", but his heart is open. So he is doing alot for the people, but the most miss it. Ran to the church on xmas and take the seats away ;-) FF- The herbs. Mom is doing alot with herbs. Oils, vinegar, little bags with diffrent herbals in, cremes. And she cooks alot with it. Like the mediterranian cuisine. I more in the healing with herbals. Teas, essences, creams, for inhalation,baths, to eat. And I use it for butter, near all food (with "sea salt"), salads. My most prefered are thyme, basil (we have with orange and citro taste), parsley, barage (the flowers you can eat also, like daisies ;-)), oregano. Not so liked: sage. The most of them you can "use" like natural antibiotics. So said : probiotics ;-) ribwort with honey is excellent for cold. And tastes really good. Next year we want do more with roses. Mom and Dad breeding them. Oh I can just imagine the "perfume". She did cakes with it, we want do syrup and tees. So we are a bit of " herb witches" (you say so?)
