rawgirl~ that is all very interesting! I am a vegan because of my health. I miss many foods. Raw wouldn’t work well for me because of my conditions, but I think that what you do for yourself is pretty committed! ;>

Wow, Rawgirl, the extent of your knowledge is quite inspiring! I can learn a thing or twenty from you. Thanks for sharing. And just yesterday and so far today my diet has included mostly rawfoods (not all organic, though : ( - so hard to find any good organic foods here in the sticks) - thanks for being a motivation!

I know what you mean about the pasta, as it is so addictive and a sedative to boot. I find that purification is my lifeline to the ONE, so at this stage of this wacky game called life on planet earth, I almost feel that I don’t have a choice OTHER than purification. For me, it is purify or fail at the big mission I co-wrote for myself with Mom & Dad. (Stay tuned, I’m in film school right now.) :)

oh yeah, turtlegurl, I forgot to answer your question about sleep and the live food lifestyle:

I only need about 5 hours, sometimes only 4 hours. Then about every 3-4 days I will have a longer sleep (about 7 hours). I actually like less sleep, as I feel I get stuck in the astral when I sleep longer.

If I eat cooked food, I get “hungover”, and then want to sleep it off. I think this is why we are told 8 hours of sleep is normal, because everyone is eating devitalized food and our bodies are weakened and need this additional time to digest and process this enzymatically-depleted food that is hard on our bodies.
.
So it is true that a lot of raw foodists discover that they need less sleep. I’ll be interested to hear if anyone else has noted a link to eating very well (high on the food chain, closer to pure sunlight via the fresh chlorophyll and phytonutrients in biologically alive fresh plant foods) vs. eating dead cooked foods.

Rawgirl,
You are way purer than I could ever hope to be. I applaud you this kind of discipline. I will say though, that I am a big believer in having a relationship with the food one eats. I milk my goats whom I love and who love me. I give them the best food and lots of hugs. I feel that the milk they give is like a magic elixir because we have this bond. I am both parent and child to them. I take care of them and also take their milk.
This also applies but not as closly with our chickens, who are very astute creatures actually and definitely know if there is something different or a stranger in their midst. They also get the best of care so I love their eggs and we eat as many as we like.
A garden is also a connection to one’s food. I don’t have one right now because I spend so much time here, but miss it and love the plants.
I also don’t know if I could give up pasta. But you go girl!

I can see their idea of harmless reptilians in advertising like the Geico gekko and Barney. Also there is a certain seduction with some people to have one inside of them, like powerful and dangerous.
Unfortunately, as they are escorted to the stew pot, it won’t be fun and games any more.

I’m not at all surprised to hear what Perot may have been faced with during his campaign, having his family threatened.
That is an unbroken rule with the reps if you are in any position of power. Play our game or else.
