At the very least, an official will see that this has been damaged and you will have to replace the card * If it is a chip put the card in a paper bag, take a hammer and wack it a few times. The bag will protect the card from showing damage. If it is a magnetic strip, go to a store and while paying for something, lay it on the code reader pad at the checkout. I have made that mistake with my credit card and wiped it out and had to get another one, so I know it will work.
