It's a social network, and works if you get a larger community of kindred spirits together - not so good for just 1-2 folks to communicate as some critical mass is needed to make it worthwhile for you. I have a community of 450 folks, however, I'm finding it's geeks or marketeers that want to talk about iPhones or Dark Knight and rather mundane things. I thought it might be breath of fresh air if there were actually RS folks on Twitter. I'm using it less and less and less all the time.
